Hello, lovelies.

This is your private invitation from me, Bessma, to join a little club of mine where we do things simply for the plot.

The idea is simple: once a month, we get together and try something new. Something we might not ordinarily think to do, plan or sign ourselves up for.

The activity is a secret. The expectations are low. The possibilities are all over the place.

You just have to show up.

The details of what we’re doing will remain a mystery for now. You’ll know what to wear, where to go and when to arrive. Other than that you just have to come and find out!

Questions you probably have

Excellent question. I know. You don’t. And I’d like to keep it that way.
Sometimes. Is it an adventure? Possibly. Is it something you would normally sign yourself up for? Probably not.
Absolutely not. Being spectacularly average is perfectly acceptable here.
Then you’ve hated something new. That’s still an experience. You’re also allowed to leave with a new story about why you hated it.
No. We’re not a gym membership. Nobody is tracking your attendance.
You can ask. I like new people, but I also like knowing who’s turning up.
No. But I will tell you what to wear, where to be and when to arrive. I’m mysterious, not irresponsible.
That’s rather the point. You don’t have to be adventurous. You just have to be willing to give something a go.
I have no intention of making the evening news.
Because sometimes the best reason to do something is simply to have a story to tell.
Let’s call it character development.
